EOS CEO on Frontline TV at DSEI 2025

At DSEI 2025, EOS CEO Dr Andreas Schwer spoke with Frontline TV about the evolving drone threat and how EOS is responding on the battlefield.

With more than 200 EOS systems active in Ukraine, Dr Schwer explained how daily frontline feedback and agile engineering have enabled rapid innovation. He highlighted the growing challenge of swarm attacks and EOS’ response with semi- and fully-automated systems, alongside the introduction of high energy laser weapons capable of engaging multiple drones per minute.

He also discussed the Slinger, EOS’ cannon-based counter-drone system, which delivers 30% greater accuracy than the next best in class. Finally, Dr Schwer announced a major milestone: EOS has signed the world’s first 100 kW high energy laser weapon contract with a Western European NATO client – a breakthrough for the entire industry and a step towards EOS’ ambition to become the global leader in high energy laser weapons.
