EOS Upgrades Leadership Capability

Electro Optic Systems Holdings Limited (“EOS” or “Company”) (ASX: EOS) is pleased to announce the following leadership changes.

Defence Systems International – EVP Appointment

Mr Christian Tobergte has been appointed to lead the EOS Defence Systems International activity and is based in Europe.  Christian has extensive experience driving business growth and has been appointed to lead and grow our Defence Systems activity outside Australia.

Christian has held several senior leadership roles within Rheinmetall over 13 years, including roles in Dusseldorf, Zurich and Abu Dhabi.  He has significant business development experience in Europe, the Middle East and other markets. 

His key focus areas will include driving the international growth of our Remote Weapons Systems ('RWS') products, including our new R150 and R800 RWS products and our new Slinger counter-drone system.  He will also work to further develop the Company’s global sales and marketing maturity, particularly in the high-growth counter-drone market.

Defence Systems Australia – EVP Appointment

Mr Ian Cook has been appointed to lead the growth of our EOS Defence Systems activity in Australia.  Ian has over 20 years of experience in senior leadership roles in defence businesses in Australia, including Thales and General Dynamics.

Ian will also focus on EOS Defence Systems global engineering, supply chain and manufacturing activities.  Ian aims to develop the maturity of these critical functions, particularly as we continue to grow EOS sales and production of new products.

Ian started with EOS in November 2023 and is based in Canberra, Australia.

Group Changes – Chief Operating Officer

Mr Clive Cuthell has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer, in addition to his existing role as Chief Financial Officer.  This expanded remit will see Clive responsible for ensuring execution of key group initiatives to support growth.

EOS sees the above changes as a key milestone in its stated strategic intent to grow the business in international markets.
