EOS selected to participate in Canadian CUAS Sandbox 2024

EOS Defence Systems has been selected as one of the 15 'innovators' to participate in the Canadian Innovation for Defence Excellence and Security (IDEaS), Counter Uncrewed Aerial Systems Sandbox 2024. The event takes place taking place in in Suffield, Alberta, from 27 May to 21 June 2024.

EOS teams from Australia and the USA will come together for this important milestone, showcasing our world-leading counter-drone technology in a real-world military setting.

Following our success at the 2022 CUAS Sandbox, we eagerly anticipate our return!

This year's event is centered on detecting and defeating Micro and Mini Uncrewed Aerial Systems (UAS). It offers innovators a test range and opportunities to interact with defence and security experts. Participants will demonstrate advanced prototypes with potential for post-Sandbox development and funding. The challenge focuses on integrating these technologies into military command and control systems and includes specific operational scenarios and methodologies. Additionally, prizes are awarded for innovative solutions, and a new CUAS Concept development section is seeking funding for low Technology Readiness Level concepts.
