Kuwait is establishing a nationwide anti-drone shield, becoming the first Gulf nation to do so. The government signed a $700 million contract with Australia-based defense company Electro Optic Systems and its London-based subsidiary MARSS.
Electro Optic Systems has secured its largest-ever contract, signing a $700 million deal to deliver a nationwide counter-drone defence system for Kuwait. CEO Andreas Schwer says the agreement demonstrates EOS can compete with major global defence contractors to deliver an integrated solution.
