Slinger showcased at DVD2024

18-19 September, 2024 | Our thanks to Leonardo for featuring EOS' world-leading counter-drone system, Slinger, as part of their Falcon Shield CUAS concept at this year’s DVD2024, displayed on a Mastiff, the British Army's protected patrol vehicle. Falcon Shield is currently operational with the Royal Air Force Regiment under the name ORCUS.

About DVD2024

DVD2024 was held at UTAC Millbrook and brought together Defence Equipment & Support (Land Equipment), Army Headquarters, and key industry stakeholders for two days of engagement. The event featured informal discussions, briefings, demonstrations, and displays, providing a valuable opportunity for collaboration between the MOD and industry. DVD2024 focused on enhancing Army capabilities by delivering a More Modern, More Lethal, and More Productive Army, with discussions centred on accelerating the Future Soldier programme, forming military partnerships, and utilising science and technology to develop next-generation capabilities.
