EOS Named Major Industry Sponsor

Australian-owned Defence, Space and Communications technology company Electro Optic Systems (EOS), has joined LAND FORCES 2020 as a Major Industry Sponsor.

The Canberra-based company known for its remote weapon systems, turrets and ISR-grade sensor units, will extend its capability this year to include advancements in optical sensor and microwave technology for space domain awareness, missile defence and space control, and on-the-move satellite telecommunications.

EOS recently signed a contract with the Commonwealth for the supply of Remote Weapon Systems (RWS) to the LAND 400 Phase 2 Combat Reconnaissance Vehicle project.

Misprint: Article says "Last year we contributed $64m to the local economy and that’s set to grow." That was the 2018 figure and it certainly did grow in 2019, to $160m!
