In a world of geopolitical uncertainty and ongoing regional tensions, the ability to swiftly and accurately detect, track and defeat drones is paramount. This is the world’s first export order for a 100-kilowatt class laser defence system.

The new laser counter-drone capability was developed by EOS to address the urgent market need and emerging strategic requirement to defend against drone swarm attacks at an economical cost. This is the world’s first export order for a 100-kilowatt class laser defence system.
EOS’ counter-drone weapon system, Slinger, featured at the UK Ministry of Defence’s C-UAS Expo on Thorney Island on 17 July. Hosted by 16 Regiment Royal Artillery, the event brought together Defence stakeholders from the British Army, Royal Navy and RAF to explore the UK’s evolving approach to drone threats.
