ADQCC signs five MoUs at IDEX 2025 – EOS among key partners

20 February 2025: The Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (ADQCC) has signed 5 Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) with major defense industry companies during its participation in IDEX and NAVDEX 2025, held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center from February 17 to 21.

The MoUs aim to enhance cooperation in quality infrastructure, strengthen relations between the Council and companies through strategic partnerships, exchange scientific and technical knowledge, and contribute to the promotion and development of security, safety, trade, and industry in Abu Dhabi. They also seek to enhance cooperation with the companies concerned, explore opportunities to improve service efficiency, and develop all aspects of collaboration to achieve the objectives of each party and support governmental directives.

The Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council also participates in the exhibition through its platform to highlight its vital role in developing and strengthening the defense industry system. The Council's Emirates Metrology Institute offers a wide range of services, including calibration, merit testing programs, consulting, and training. As the National Reference for measurement in the United Arab Emirates, the Institute has significantly contributed to improving various economic and vital sectors, including the military industry, by reducing service costs and delivery time, enhancing production capacity, and boosting operational efficiency to support national industries, while strengthening its position in the international arena.

Engineer Abdullah Ahmed Al Yazidi, Acting Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council, said, “The signing of these memoranda with our strategic partners underscores the Council's and the Emirates Institute of Metrology's commitment to enhancing the quality of services and products in the defense sector. Scientific and technical cooperation is the key to developing a robust infrastructure that boosts the efficiency and competitiveness of national industries”.

The signing of these memorandums reaffirms the commitment of both the Council and the Emirates Metrology Institute to enhance cooperation with partners in the private and public sectors, contributing to the development of defense industries and strengthening our position on the international stage”.
