EOS showcases CUAS capability at the Singapore Airshow
Singapore - -11 February 2020 - - EOS Defence Systems Pte Ltd (EOS) will display its industry-leading, battle-proven technology as a first-time exhibitor at the Singapore Airshow taking place at the Changi Exhibition Centre, 11-14 February 2020.
EOS is partnering with Milrem Robotics and at its booth, C35, will showcase lightweight lethality with enhanced CUAS capability, exhibiting the THeMIS UGV equipped with an EOS R400S-Mk2 remote weapon system, mounting a 30mm ATK M230 LF cannon, and the Rada Radar aCHR compact all-threat tactical air surveillance radar system.
Continuing on with the lightweight theme, an EOS R150S, the world’s lightest remote weapon system will be on display mounted with the DillionAero M134 7.62mm Minigun.
In November 2019 Milrem Robotics announced that the Defence Technology Institute of Thailand (DTI) will be evaluating the THeMIS in 2020 to determine its suitability for the Royal Thai Army as a supply transport and as an unmanned remotely operated weapon platform. The latter will be done in cooperation with EOS using the R400S-MK2.
EOS has a strong foothold in the Asia Pacific with R400S remote weapon systems in service with the Republic of Korea Armed Forces and with the Indonesian Army. The heavy hitting R600S RWS with dual weapon configuration is in service with the Singapore Armed Forces.
